Call for Papers: Who Owns Heritage?
Call for Papers: Who Owns Heritage? Local Communities and the Fight for Historical Monuments in the 19th and 20th Centuries. Masaryk University Brno, Czechia, 6 November.
Want to do something for your health and support a good cause at the same time? Come to the Run for St. Elizabeth's Hospice on Saturday 18 June, the proceeds of which are intended to support this non-profit organisation that cares primarily for patients in the final stages of life.
The run will start at 10 a.m. directly from the hospice grounds at 36 Kamenná Street. The route will lead towards Anthropos, to Červený hill and from there back to the hospice. You can run 0.6 km, 5.7 km or 11.4 km depending on your fitness, or just walk the route. Time is not the most important measure here, in line with the hospice idea where "you don't add days to life, but life to days". The route and all further information can be found at: www.behprohospic-brno.cz.
