| Popis | In this paper, we bring in novel evidence from Czech and Vietnamese concerning event and degree numerals in phrases of comparison. We model the meaning of such numerals based on their syntactic and semantic properties observed in different environments focusing mainly on differential constructions in equatives and comparatives. Our work contributes to the research on comparatives as well as to the semantic typology. |
