| Popis | Formula 1 is currently enjoying increasing popularity not only worldwide but also in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The races of this prestigious motorsport competition attract numerous fans not only for their thrill and excitement but also thanks to the commentators themselves. This paper focuses on analyzing the use of metaphors in the language of Formula 1 by sports commentators. The aim of the paper is to explore how commentators, through figurative expressions, shape the perception of the races and create an emotional dynamic that significantly influences the viewer’s experience. |
