Important dates of the admission procedure

  • every year from August 1st until November 30th / from January 1st until April 30th

    Submit your application

    When submitting an electronic application (no other form is possible), you will also be able to see the conditions for admission to the chosen study programme. In addition to all of the other required information, be sure to fill in the Additional Applicant Information section. Here you state the focus of your Master’s degree (faculty, degree programme, and study programme) and the dissertation topic.

    The fee for one application at the Faculty of Arts is 600 CZK.

    SUBMIT THE APPLICATION

  • 17 – 21 December

    Wait for a letter

    Please verify that your e-application is complete, i.e. paid for and confirmed. After the application is complete, we will send you an invitation letter to the field test.

  • 14 – 31 January

    Coming to the exam

    The entrance examination for the doctoral study programme takes the form of an oral interview. Details can be found at the available study programmes. You can also check what materials are to be sent in advance to the Admissions Office and what materials you should bring with you to the exam.

  • January – February

    Read the results

    The results of the oral interview will be put in the electronic application form. At the same time, we will post a notification letter of your acceptance or non-acceptance, together with the instructions for enrolment.

  • February / September

    Enrolment

    Once you have received the decision on your acceptance to the study programme, you will also receive an enrolment invitation. You only become a student of the Faculty of Arts after you have enrolled.
