Ovid's Metamorphoses have been a code of erotic figuration, capable of legitimising even illicit and forbidden loves. Although some illustrated editions of the poem are censored, in great painting and sculpture Ovid continues uninterruptedly to provide words to speak of love. Speaker: Giuseppe Capriotti.
