At the Faculty of Arts MU (hereinafter, the FF MU), we provide equal opportunities to all job applicants. We promote diversity and strive to create a working environment that meets the individual needs of employees.
Selection procedures at the FF MU are governed by the faculty’s Selection Procedures Rules, which are based on and further elaborate upon the university’s Selection Procedure Regulations. Our selection procedures are open, transparent, and guided by the principle of merit-based evaluation.
We are the proud holder of the HR Excellence in Research award from the European Commission. Our recruitment process follows the principles of the European Charter for Researchers:
- We advertise all vacancies on the MU Careers page, on the MU Faculty of Arts Available Positions, and positions for researchers on the international job portal Euraxess and other relevant career portals.
- In job advertisements, we define the requirements for candidates, the description of the offered working conditions, and the selection procedure, so that candidates have the maximum information and transparency into the whole process.
- Candidates are evaluated by a selection committee composed of an odd number of members with a variety of expertise and skills, as gender-balanced as possible.
- The only valid way to apply for the selection procedure is to complete the online application form via the link in the advertisement.
- All candidates will receive information from us as to whether and how they were successful in the selection process.
