The proposed project extends the topic of doctoral dissertation of the author of this project called Bibliotheca-domus Sapientiae-Iconography of Painting-Decoration of Monastic and Castle Libraries in Moravia in the 18th century, defended at the Faculty of Arts of the Masaryk University in Brno in 2003, as well as the project of the Higher Education Development Fund Interiors of Monastic and Castle Libraries in Moravia in the 18th century - Catalogue of Fresco Paintings, which the author of the proposed project solved in 2002. The aim of this project, which is intended for 3 years, is the reconstruction of programs of the interior artistic decoration of the monastic libraries in Bohemia in the 18th century. The goal of the project is to create a catalogue of artistic interior decoration and especially painting-decoration, the main part of which will be a visual documentation and a detailed description of iconography of preserved paintings, and of the plastic decoration (if present) as well. The gathered data will be used for preparation of publication Baroque Libraries in the Czech Republic.
