Results

The topic investigated in the framework of this research project has proved to be quite interesting and much richer than expected. Direct investigation of the two manuscripts preserved at the National Library of Spain in Madrid, together with the study of publications available only in Spanish libraries, has opened a saucerful of treasures that I am currently investigating and that will result in an article to be published on the Spanish journal "Revista de Poetica Medieval" in 2018 (an article about the manuscript RES/236, the text it witnesses and their textual transmission in other manuscripts) and other topics which will be further developed in 2018. The literary relationships between Italy and Spain in the late middle ages appear now to much more intense that expected, and the circulation of books in the late middle ages / early renaissance between the two countries deserves to be studied more.
