This project focuses on collecting and categorising material of Covid-related humour circulating in the Czech Republic, creating a database and its further analysing in the context of humour studies. The Czeh database will be connected to an international database of Covid-related humorous material. The data will be interpreted in the context of various functions of humour and will offer insight into the processes behind using humour as a a coping strategy.
