The project investigates which types of PDE are produced in bone and joint tissues, and how both currently used and newly developed PDE inhibitors could be utilised for the therapeutic manipulation of bone and cartilage cells. The data obtained may ultimately help to improve the condition of patients with musculoskeletal disorders and contribute to the treatment of patients with congenital skeletal dysplasia.
