Lump Sum Funding in Horizon Europe
The Horizon Europe programme is expanding the scope of lump sum grants, with plans to expand even more in 2023 and 2024.
The European Commission will significantly increase the number of calls for lump sum-financed projects. It is expected that up to 50% of Horizon Europe funding will be in the form of lump sum in the future. Lump sum refers to the payment scheme and budget model associated with the research project which reduces administration and financial errors.
