The lectures will provide a short historical overview of the history and developments of the Romani litearture in the Balkans. Stepping on a wide definition of literature that includes all kinds of written publication, the overview drows on both commonalities and particularities in the different countries of the region in since the end of 19 century until today. Finally the lecture reflects on the effects of the globalizaton processes on the development of Romani literature written by authors from the Balkans who write in their countries or in migration.
