Exhibition: Cicero in Letters or the Life of Man

Cicero's correspondence depicts not only the fall of the Roman Republic but also his emotions and internal contradictions. You can learn more about it in the foyer of Building B2 until Easter.

Taisei Yamashita: Reconstructing Courtly Networks

Johann Joseph Khevenhüller’s Diary as a Window into the Viennese Court under Maria Theresia. Taisei Yamashita (Kobe University, University of Vienna) in his presentation explores both Khevenhüller and his diary in an effort to reconstruct court life under Maria Theresia. Yamashista’s current project focuses on analyzing the social networks reflected in the diary.

Ricardo Lugo: Human Aspects in Cybersecurity

As a part of the CyberSecPro project, this seminar on Human Factors in Cybersecurity (Ricardo Lugo, Østfold University College, Norway) examines the psychological, social, and organisational influences on security-related behaviour and decision-making. Participants will explore how human vulnerabilities are exploited by cyber attackers and how these risks can be addressed through a stronger understanding of communication, culture, and collaboration within organisations.
