An exhibition Feed with Tenderness, Tear with Palm / Sweet Kisses & Ripping to Pieces

The new exhibition will combine expressive figurative drawing with poetry. The watercolours by artist Nicol Francis Hendruk will be complemented by poems by Helena Lněnička, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts MU. The artists have selected two dozen figurative drawings for the Reading Room. They mainly reflect emotions, intimate experiences, introspection, vulnerability and natural beauty. "I show what I miss or what I would not dare to do in real life. On paper, I express emotions and desires that I don't dare express directly, and these visions come easily to me in the form of the female figure - perhaps because I am a woman. It is close to my heart," says Nicole F. Hendruk, a native of Phoenix, USA.
