About the Event
The 7th-century church is hidden among the mountains near the Georgian town of Gori (the infamous birthplace of Joseph Stalin). It is a building of unique architectural qualities, dotted with reliefs on the facade and decorated with frescoes in the interior, representing one of the most complete and well-preserved wall cycles in all of Georgia. Yet this unique temple is almost unknown. How did this happen?
