Description The aim of this paper is to sum up the possibilities of using corpora in teaching Czech as a foreign language. Corpus can be a source of the data, especially frequency, in developing teaching materials. If the data-driven method is used, it is possible to benefit from corpus data directly in the classroom. The potential as well as the obstacles in using corpora in ordinary lessons are evaluated.
