| Description | The author of the study deals with the standing of translated literature within a literary setting and with the contribution of inspired translations to each national literature. Stimulants for the translation of Slovenian literature in the period 1990-2010 come frome several directions: first of all it was a personal initiative of Czech translators who were able to use effectively grant programs, other ideas come from academic environment. Due respect should be paid to activities of the Centre for Slovenian Literature, to editors of literary journals who put out monothematic issues dedicated to Slovenian literature. |
