| Description | This introductory paper tried to introduce the topic of ethnic minorities’ gangs. It focused on the research and approaches of American authors and tried to transpose some insights into the Czech Republic environment. Text introduced typologies and functions of gangs and there were also discussed specific features of gang’s criminality and the possible causes of these crimes (especially committed by youth). The situation of Roma youth gangs was briefly mentioned as well. |
