Description In this chapter creative writing has been put into the context of educational practice. An analysis of basic curricular documents for individual levels of education (Framework Educational Programmes) shows that creative writing is a suitable instrument of the current reform of the Czech school system and that it is in accordance with modern teaching trends. Attention has been paid to a creative writing teacher, to individual stages of planning and realization of lessons or creative writing courses and also to the assessment of students' works.
