Description The need to train skillful speakers of English has increased in recent years, partly as a result of the worldwide dominance of English as the global lingua franca and its status as the major language of communication in the EU. This has led to the unparalleled proliferation of the ESP field over the past two decades, which is also reflected in the rising number of textbooks in various domains of ESP. This article is a critical review of a recent textbook of legal English that is aimed at law practitioners.
