Citation
Description The publication comments on organizational learning in schools. In the opening chapter the authors sum up previous studies and theories related to organizational learning in general and organizational learning in schools in particular. Then they discuss and describe an empirical research they have carried out, based on their knowledge of theory and previous research, in basic schools in the Czech Republic. For this purpose they used a mixed research design with the qualitative stage based on a multiple case study and the quantitative stage done in the form of a questionnaire survey. This is how a variety of important findings about the processes of organizational learning and their leadership and management were made. The subsequent parts of the publication give information on the content focus and structural arrangement of organizational learning in schools, its actors and the ways of support. Special attention is paid to supporting factors of organizational learning and some moral dilemmas related to the leadership and management of the processes of organizational learning in schools.
