Description Textbooks characterized the Balkan states after 1944. Textbooks analyzing power changes that occurred in the Balkans in the first decade after the war. They explain the gradual Sovietization of Romania, Bulgaria, Albania and Yugoslavia. Special attention is paid to specific developments in Greece (Civil War) and Yugoslavia (Tito-Stalin split). The important part of the publication is a chapter on the issue of multi-ethnic and multicultural development in the Balkans.
