| Description | Moravian Museum of Applied Arts was established in 1873 as the oldest museum of its kind in the Czech lands. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, it became a centre of museum events in the Austrian Empire and started publishing a special journal. In 1961, it became a part of the newly established Moravian Gallery and around 2000, its original building was reconstructed. |
