| Description | The article analyses legal practice in the period of establishment and development of the so called "barbarian" Germanic states. It deals with the conception of honour which was the most important for warriors, especially of the institute of the so called judgement of god, (duel); moreover, it is concerned also with the protection of the honour of the weak and defenceless members of the societywomen and children), as well as the honour of the state and the highest social ranks in the so called "barbarian" law codices. |
