Description The chapter presents specific features in teaching pupils with intellectual disabilities in special schools. It also describes the legislative policy that affects the process of education. We focus on the content of education given by the curricular document the Framework Educational Programme for Special Schools. The chapter specifies pupils with intellectual disabilities and their determinants in the educational process and conditions that has to be fulfilled for implementing FEP SS.
