Description	A new method, reversed phase liquid chromatography with off-line surface-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (RPLC–SALDI MS) for the determination of brassicasterol, cholesterol , stigmasterol, campesterol and beta-sitosterol in oil samples has been developed.
