Description The aim of the project is application of archaeological experiments supported by interdisciplinary approach (using archaeology, ethnography, history and geology) for better understanding of medieval and post-medieval pottery in region of Bohemian-Moravian Highland. Experiments are based on archaeological finds, historical sources, ethnografic parallels and contemporary pottery experience. The project consists of finding and testing local clay sources, pottery making with different types of temper and firing it in medieval kiln replica. Participants of experiments are of Archaeology and Geology at Masaryk univerzity in Brno.
