| Description | To contribute to the anniversary and to honour the excellent work of Fernao Mendes Pint, we chose as the topic of our paper the influence of the travel literature of the Age of Discovery on the diary writing of Miguel Torga, known for loving and also critiscising of his homeland. The aim of our contribution is, therefore, to explore the impact of the Peregrination by Mendes Pinto and the travel literature on Miguel Torga's understanding of the nation, as stated in his Diary. |
