Description	This contribution focuses on providing facts on the important personality of prof. Igor Zhoř, whose lifetime endeavour lied in mediating contemporary arts between general public and experts. He played a fundamental role in the integration process of Czech arts pedagogic into its international context. The conference was organized by the Department of Art PdF MU (prof.
