Description	The article deals with manifestation of burnout syndrome in teaching staff in special schools. Burnout syndrome was assessed by a questionnaire Maslach Burnout Inventory. The results (N=102) did not confirm pathological results among the researched population. However, certain groups of teaching staff were found more prone to burnout syndrome.
