| Description | This article is focused on polish ethnic minority in Zhytomyr region, Ukraine. It presents history of polish settlement in the area and contemporary national and cultural activities of polish community including lessons of polish language, cultural festivals and religious life. In the last part the article contains brief presentation of historical buildings and monuments built by polish community like historical polish cemetery or polish churches in the city and list of most famous polish personalities from Zhytomyr or surrounding area with short biographies. |
