This paper is focused on the question of the acquisition of ownership right to the alluvia and gulch located on the banks of the watercourse in the new Civil Code. The author focuses on legal aspects of these phenomena which have roots in Roman law. In conclusion, the author thinks about the impact of these rules into the current legal practice.
