Citation
Description The author of the present study deals with works written by Slovak poet Jaroslav Rezník (*1942). In the period of normalization his poems could not be published. The author focuses on Rezník's collection of poems called The Secret of Straight Line (2007) to compare it on the basis of the esthetic-anthropological concept with the collection Who Drinks Wine in the Darkness (1988) written by Czech poet Jan Skácel. In poets' lives and works the author reveals more analogies, first of all anthropocentric dimension of their poetry, inclination to traditional values and connection to the homeland.
