Description Surgical management head and neck cancers is often devastating, it is therefore preferred noninvasive chemo / radiotherapy. We dont have marker identifying patients responsive to ionizing radiation before start of treatment. Primarydecision for the optimal therapy is therefore extremely important. Our goal is to optimize detection gammaH2AX/53BP1 foci using immunofluorescence microscopy for pretreament determination of the sensitivity of tumors head and neck to ionizing radiation in vitro.
