| Description | The following article focuses on adjectives and phrases derived from the proper name Kafka, both in French and in English. Thus we try to comprehend the semantic content of these functional adjectives and the matching collective representations. In order to do it, we consider as a significant variable the generic dimension of texts in which they occur: a contrastive perspective clearly shows its key role. Finally, we attempt to interpret these illustrated comments in comparison with the writings of Kafka and the icon this author has become. |
