Description The contribution focused on eschatology of Jan Hus - in particular, on the topic of antichrist and the tightly related rhetoric, which are the key constituents of Hus's reformation efforts. This topic was partly presented also in comparison with Hus's predecessors – Milíč a Matěj from Janov. The objective was to demonstrate this fact: although the early Bohemian Reformation is mostly and justifiably considered as rather monolithic in regard to the antichrist topic (the authors continue one another's work, their biblical sources are similar or identical and so is their concept of Antichrist etc., note: recently, the term "Hus's predecessors" has been challenged by F. Šmahel) , the relatively unified development of the idea of antichrist had been disrupted in one important aspect - it is the fact that, unlike in case of the other authors, Hus's eschatology cannot be labelled as apocalyptic and the usage of the term apocalyptic by Hus is questionable.
