Description This contribution thoroughly describes the life stories of five clergymen who were appointed to the office of the Dean in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou under the patronage law of Johann Adam Count of Questenberg: Paulus Franciscus Polach (1694-1722), Antonius Ferdinandus Dubravius (1722-32), Gundakar Andreas Count of Egk and Hungersbach (1732-35), Joannes Sigismundus Count of Götzen (1735-47) and Josephus Joachimus Knight of Stehno (1747-78). Furthermore, in a brief intermezzo, the activities of the Jaroměřice chaplain Ignatius Maria Frey (1725-34) will be considered as well.
