Citation
Description The publication offers a contrastive analysis of lexical means used in German and Czech to express and thematize five emotions: joy, sadness, anger, fear and love. Using dictionary-based and corpus-based research methodologies, the team of authors present means used in certain typical emotionally charged situations. The primary aim of the publication is to explore the similarities and differences in the use of individual lexical means, as well as offering a potential source of information for users seeking an adequate verbal expression of emotions in the respective languages.
