Description Paper deals with mutual influences between Prague school theorists and Czech avant-garde theatre. This was demonstrated especially on performances of folk baroque plays by E. F. Burian, which were inspired by etnographic research of Petr Bogatyrev - and mutually this performances influenced Bogatyrev's theoretical notions.
