| Description | The author of the present study pays attention to Pechorin, the main character of the novel A Hero of Our Time (1840) written by M. J. Lermontov. The Slovak writer Ján Hrušovský used some Pechorin's character qualities in Seeborn, the hero from novella The Man with a prosthesis (1925). The author finds similarities and differences between Pechorin and Seeborn who are compared according to their names, attention to female characters and split in their personality. |
