Description Investigation mutual spatial relations of archaeological components and their surroundings in order to understand the socio-geographical contexts of deaths societies is an essential part of archaeology. Main goal of presented work was creation of predictive model in the northwestern part of Slovakia. Focus of prediction lies on settlement components of the early medieval period. Primary objective was to create best suitable, unbiased model with high predictive power using formalized methods and statistical analysis. Two pair of models was created. Different hypothesis stands behind each of the model. Important part was testing and comparison of models using the statistical validation of results. By comparing the first pair influence of allocation of different weights to individual input variables was examined. Comparison of second pair, examine impact of proximity to the central components to the resulting model.
