Description | The exhibition deals with original color and black and white photographs made by Lumír Jisl, an outstanding Czechoslovak archaeologist and expert in Oriental art and material culture. He was engaged in the study of Buddhist art in China, Tibet and mainly in Mongolia, where he led a successful archaeological expedition exploring prince Kultegin (685-732) memorial in 1958. The exhibition shows 55 Lumir Jisl large pictures taken during his three Mongolian journeys in 1957 to 1963. |
