Description Biorhythms represent one of the manifestations of living matter. They are found on all floor levels of its organization, have a genetic basis. On a higher level, they are represented by a series of brain nuclei, endocrine glands, retina and peripheral organ centers. Biorhythms operate hierarchically from cell tissue and organs through to the macroorganism, they are associated with a number of important processes in the body, nature and the universe. Their basic role is to exist and adaptability of any living system. Biorhythms are intensively investigated approximately 100 years, have links to a variety of disciplines - chronobiology, chronophysiology, chronopathology, chronopharmacology and many others. In the postmodern information society we can be traced in space exploration, medicine, education, the productive sectors. Biorhythms also demonstrate links between wildlife with cosmic influences.
