Citation
Description The chapter analyzes the translation of the centre of the Empire to the East during the reign of the German Kings and the Holy Roman Emperors from the House of Luxembourg. Although the centre of the Empire moved with the ruler, it didn't meen, that Prague or later Buda became the early capitals of the Empire (or the Personal union of Germany and Hungary under Sigismund). The Imperial Diets as well as other important political meetings took henceforth place in the traditional nucleus of the Empire between Mainz and Nuremberg.
