Description	This paper deals with the low-cost approach to long-term preservation of digital information and the open-source system Archivematica. It presents the results of user and system evaluation of the Archivematica, which was carried out under the project LTP-pilot funded by the Development Fund of the CESNET academic association. In conclusion the ARCLib follow-up project is also mentioned; the project is aimed at creating a comprehensive software system and methodology for preservation of digital information in Czech libraries and other memory institutions.
