| Description | Directions of urban population are one of interesting historical sources used especially for statistic urban research of 19th century. Could they help also for studying history of 20th century? My article was focused on possibilities of using this historical source and also difficulties. The example of application is analysis of Brno directions of urban population for study of changes professional structure after the Second World War. |
