Description The presentation was dedicated to an attempt at a description of the literary character of Euthyphro from Plato's dialogue bearing the same name. Despite considering himself an expert on the subject of piety, during his discourse with Socrates Euthyphro is unable to live up to his exaggerated claims. The analysis was therefore motivated solely by the resulting possibility of comparing the aspects of Euthyphro's behaviour with the psychological phenomena described under the so-called "Dunning-Kruger effect".
