Description The aim of the international conference “Paths to Professionalising Career Guidance” is to give space for academics, researchers, guidance services providers, practitioners, education and training providers, and policy makers, to open a wider discussion on professionalising career guidance services. With respect to the focus of the conference, preferred topics of presentations and posters are those from the following areas: professionalism of guidance practitioners including examples of evidence based practice; results of research focused on assessment of theoretical frameworks, or on measuring effectiveness and quality of methods and procedures in career guidance, career education and support of career development; implications of current topics for education and training of guidance practitioners (e. g., migration; using ICT in guidance; polarization in society due to economic, gender, health, and other inequalities; labour market flexibility; individualised concept of career, etc.); reflecting experience in education and training of guidance practitioners.
