Description Creating posters and using them to transfer scientific knowledge is nowadays a common way of communication between professionals. Posters have also been used as a teaching method since eighties of the twentieth century (Chute, Bank, 1983; Rosenberg, Blount, 1988; Gore, Camp, 1987; Baird, 1991; Sorensen, Boland, 1991; Fowles, 1992 and others). At the Department of Psychology at Faculty of Education, Masaryk university posters have been systematically implemented in teaching subjects of Psychology of education and School psychology since 2008. This article is focused on providing theoretical background for using posters in teaching practice and describing the use of posters with a specific group of part time students.
