| Description | The presentation focused on two elements: the shifting between the different language registers and the metanarrative comments in the collection of of four Byzantine begging poems, called, in agreement with the manuscript tradition, Ptochoprodromic poems and written with high probability around the middle of the 12th century, which is known as one of the examples of vernacular literature in Byzantium. |
